Great small Family run restaurant serving all the tastes of Ireland with an extensive selection of sweets, soft drinks, food, teas and breads to take home with you. Caesar and his staff serve the perfect cuppa, and make fresh hand cut chips (fries) that are reminiscent of a chipper in Ireland. Highly recommend. The family and I go quarterly to stock up, and they even carry specialty items around the holidays (Easter eggs, turf & briquettes, Christmas pudding and biscuits, or holiday baskets that have the lot). Best place to get rashers, sausages, black and white pudding, and even sausage rolls. Go try it for yourself!

Nice pleasant Irish coffee place with an ambience that looks like it is frozen in the ninety's. We went for breakfast and the food was delicious and inexpensive. Would recommend getting curry sauce to pair with your fries. Also liked the service given by the staff. They were fast and friendly. This place is also a shop containing lots of items that you won't find in the big grocery stores. So check them out too.

This little spot is a gem. The food was excellent, and the service was superb. The prices are reasonable, and the food is perfectly cooked, an enormous meal. The tea was served piping hot in a small pot; we enjoyed our meal and planned to return. They have a variety of Irish goods for sale, and we stocked up on quite a fair bit. The grocery items are reasonably priced, also.

We are currently still eating breakfast and had to leave a review. My husband is Scottish and I lived in Scotland for five years and this is about as authentic as you can get. We opened the door and walked into an actual Irish coffee shop, not just an authentic representation of it. My husband says the chips taste just like his mother’s (she lives in rural Scotland). So. You should probably come here.

The Irish Coffee Shop on West Chester Pike is the home to a hearty and economical breakfast with a sincere and loving nod to Ireland. Be aware that parking on WC Pike can be a burden and The Irish Coffee Shop does not have strong "curb appeal", but you do not want to miss this Havertown experience. In addition to breakfast & coffee, The Irish Coffee Shop carries a grocery aisle of hard-to-find, crowd-favorite Irish goods including teas, sauces, chocolates and snacks. The girls had French Toast with American bacon and sausage. They drank hot chocolate with what appeared to be homemade whipped cream. I went for the Traditional Irish Breakfast, (half portion). I've eaten many a bean, but never before with breakfast. These were the best beans I have ever had. The coffee was fine and my cup was refilled regularly. Here's the bottom line: The Irish Coffee Shop is not a fancy place. It is clean; well appointed and gritty enough to remind you that you're at a real, local business. They deliver surprisingly delicious food and sincere service with a little slice of Ireland. Breakfast for 3 with coffee and hot chocolates cost only about 25. I recommend trying the Traditional Irish Breakfast. TheBillo313

This is such a nice place! The value for the food you get is phenomenal. Each time I've visited I've only ever been impressed. Me and my partner typically get the "Big Breakfast" special for brunch. Today, I got the "soda farl" sandwich by way of recommendation from a sweet dining couple. I think I've found my new favorite

If you are British or Irish you MUST visit this cafe. The staff are amazing and the food is top notch. There are so many places that claim to serve British or Irish food and they all fall way short in comparison to this place. The owners and their family are genuinely lovely people and the staff are all very welcoming. It is a little gem tucked away where you would easily drive past.......but don’t drive past without stopping in there you will NOT be disappointed
